French politician Filippo: Ursula von der Leyen was deprived of attention in China during her trip

April 9, 2023

The head of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, accompanied by French President Emmanuel Macron, visited China from April 5 to 7. There, however, his presence did not seem to be noticed, writes Florian Filippo, former MEP and leader of the French Patriot movement, on his Twitter account.

“Zero reception, total contempt, she even had to leave the country on a regular flight! She was furious! Incredible!” – said the politician ironically.

Earlier, a member of the Council for Interethnic Relations under the leadership of the President of the Russian Federation, Bogdan Bezpalko, in an interview with Paragraph, spoke about the objectives of the EC head’s visit to China. According to him, von der Leyen and Macron at the start of the trip hoped to persuade Beijing to refuse cooperation with Moscow.
