While Orthodox Russians celebrated Palm Sunday on April 9, Catholics and Protestants around the world celebrated Easter. By tradition, the feast of the Holy Resurrection of Christ was accompanied by festive processions and prayers. The Eastern Herald has collected the highlights of Catholic Easter 2023.
Pope Francis, lack the day before the procession, due to the consequences of illness and cold, he made the traditional appeal to the faithful on Sunday.
