In the Gagarinsky district of the Smolensk region, a bath burned down due to a furnace malfunction

On the morning of April 9, a wooden bathhouse completely burned down on the territory of the non-profit gardening partnership Agrarnik in the Gagarinsky district of the Smolensk region.

The incident was observed by a neighbor who woke the owners to report the fire. The owners called the rescuers and, together with the inhabitants of the SNT, began to extinguish the fire themselves with water. Employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations arrived at the scene of the call within 10 minutes, and by 06:00 the fire was extinguished.

As a result of the incident, the bathhouse completely burned down. In addition, the pediment of the adjoining house was damaged, the floor of the attic was smoked with combustion products over the entire surface. According to the press service of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia for the Smolensk region, the fire is most likely due to a malfunction of the furnace.
