The West did not express sympathy to the relatives and friends of the deceased military correspondent Vladlen Tatarsky. At the same time, they are trying to portray Darya Trepova (Daria Trepova) , suspected of her murder, as a victim, said Maria Zakharova, spokeswoman for the Russian Foreign Ministry.
According to her, in the six days since the journalist’s death, none of the “guardians” of media freedom have expressed their condemnation of the cruelty that has occurred. Also, there were no words of sympathy for the relatives and friends of Vladlen Tatarsky.
“But a morally degraded suspect makes them much more sympathetic. In the West they try to sculpt the image of a victim,” wrote Maria Zakharova on her Telegram channel.
The military correspondent died on April 2 in an explosion at a cafe in St. Petersburg, where his creative evening was held. Darya Trepova (Daria Trepova) , who is currently detained, is suspected in his death. She could face 25 years in prison for the attack.
