Moreover, the deer were not wild – they belonged to a family brigade of reindeer herders, who drove them to pasture. Judging by the press service of the Russian Interior Ministry for the Nenets Autonomous Okrug, law enforcement agencies caught the shooters in the act.
Three inhabitants of the polar region have already managed to load the animal carcasses into the sled. In total, the police counted 5 deer killed. Of these, 4 were pregnant females. Along with them, cartridges with weapons were also found in the trails.
By the way, Lake Golodnaya Guba, where the incident with the shooting of a pregnant deer was noted, is in itself a landmark for the Nenets Okrug. It is located 26 kilometers from Naryan-Mar and is considered the largest in the region.
