Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelenskyy may travel to Germany next month to receive the Charlemagne Prize, Bild writes. This prize is awarded for his contribution to the unification of Europe. This year it was decided to reward Zelenskyy and the Ukrainian people for protecting not only their country, “but also Europe and European values”, writes the newspaper.
The presentation of the prize to Zelenskyy is expected to take place in the German city of Aachen, where Charlemagne’s residence was located. German Chancellor Olaf Scholz will speak at the ceremony. If the visit takes place, it will be Zelenskyy’s first trip to Germany since the start of the military conflict with the Russian Federation. Although the publication admits that Zelenskyy will receive an award via video link, since a Ukrainian counteroffensive is planned.
Earlier in Poland, Zelenskyy was awarded the highest state honor.
Zelenskyy may visit Germany in person for the first time since the start of the NWO
