US imposes sanctions on Russian Deputy Prime Minister Khusnullin

The US Treasury Department has released a sanctions list, which includes Russian Deputy Prime Minister Marat Khusnullin. The list also includes dozens of natural and legal persons who, according to US authorities, are associated with the Russian Federation.

“Khusnullin, Marat Shakirzyanovich,” reads the US Department listing.

At the same time, citizens of Cyprus, Britain, Uzbekistan, Hungary, Liechtenstein, Austria, Israel and Germany also fell under Washington’s upcoming restrictive measures.

Previously, Canada had extended its restrictive measures against Russia. Thus, the sanctions affected 14 natural persons and 34 legal persons.
