Reshaping Perspectives and Catalyzing Diplomatic Evolution

Zelenskyy signed a bill to increase the defense budget by $14.6 billion

The bill, which says Ukraine’s defense spending should be increased by $14.6 billion, was signed by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy on Tuesday. This is stated in a statement on the website of the Verkhovna Rada.

“04/11/2023 Returned with the signature of the President of Ukraine,” the bill’s page reads.

According to the deputy of the Ukrainian parliament Yaroslav Zheleznyak, this is a record increase in the budget.

Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal said earlier that the country’s government has already approved the mentioned bill. According to him, Kiev will receive money from Western partners.

At the same time, Ukraine’s budget for 2023 projects a record deficit of $38 billion.

By the way, the budget for providing military support to the Kiev regime in the near future may be exhausted in the United States. This has already been reported by the New York Times.
