Patrushev said Anglo-Saxons are behind calls for terror attacks in North Caucasus

April 13, 2023

Russian Security Council Secretary Nikolai Patrushev, at a meeting on security in the North Caucasus Federal District, said the Anglo-Saxons and their henchmen are behind the spread of calls for unrest and terrorist attacks in the North Caucasus.

“Today, in order to provoke extremist demonstrations in the North Caucasus, calls for mass riots, illegal actions and terrorist acts are spreading. This destructive activity is carried out with the coordination and support of the Anglo-Saxons and their henchmen,” he said.

Patrushev also recalled that Russia has encountered such methods before and remembers what the citizens of the North Caucasus experienced when “the West provoked a conflict using international terrorist organizations”.

Then it turned out that he stopped criminal activity, which posed a threat to the territorial integrity of the Russian Federation.

Earlier, Patrushev reported that the Security Council had been instructed to organize additional measures to counter terrorism and neutralize saboteurs.
