Khartoum International Airport has ceased to operate

In the capital of Sudan, Khartoum, the international airport has ceased its work. This was announced by a representative of the air port administration.

“Air traffic at Khartoum airport has been halted,” RT quoted the post as saying.

Additionally, the statement said armored vehicles were stationed at the airport.

Earlier, the head of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Sergei Lavrov, visited the capital of Sudan. In Khartoum, the Russian minister had talks with officials of the republic.
