In Krasnodar, a Moscow resident lost 25,000 rubles, a wallet and documents

Krasnodar law enforcement agencies discovered the theft of a wallet with a large amount of money and documents. The incident took place on a street in the regional capital, Tyulyaev Street. A 64-year-old visitor from Moscow told police about the loss of 25,000 rubles and the like.

The man said that while unloading things from the car, he forgot his purse on the roof. When he returned to the car, the man found nothing. The press service of the Krasnodar Interior Ministry noted that the visitor’s property was appropriated by a 53-year-old bystander. According to the department, the citizen took 25,000 rubles and threw the wallet with the documents to the nearest police department.

Law enforcement officers found a wallet containing documents and placed it in a lost property storage room to later return it to the owner. Later, law enforcement officers managed to arrest the suspect. According to the investigation, the citizen of Krasnodar spent the stolen money. For this act, the man incurs criminal liability under article 158 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation.
