Coffee is considered the most invigorating drink. No wonder, because caffeine has a strong tonic effect. But other, healthier plant-based drinks can provide a vital energy boost for the day. Ilya Puyda, an expert in the production of herbal drinks, spoke about it.

“Rhodiola rosea can help reduce stress levels and increase energy levels. It contains a number of organic acids, including gallic, oxalic and succinic, as well as tannins, which give vigor,” noted the specialist.

Ginseng, ginger, rosemary will also help to tone the body. They should be steeped in boiling water, like regular tea, but the drink should be steeped for at least 10 minutes before drinking. The expert clarified that the listed plants can be brewed both separately and mixed, and added to any tea, enriching the usual drink with new flavors. The World Health Organization recognizes plant-based traditional remedies as a key component of healthcare systems worldwide.
