Beijing: At least 21 people were killed in a fire that broke out at a hospital building in China’s national capital on Tuesday. According to reports, a fire broke out at 12.57 pm (local time) on Tuesday in the entrance building of a hospital in Beijing’s Fengtai district, killing 21 people. 71 patients were shifted from the hospital. The report states that the cause of the fire is currently being investigated.
The fire was doused at around 1.33 pm and the rescue operation was over at around 3.30 pm. A total of 71 patients were evacuated from the hospital and shifted to other places. The report states that the cause of the fire is currently being investigated.
