PNB issued new guidelines! Big news! PNB Bank has changed the charges of its banking services

PNB (Punjab National Bank), one of the largest lenders in the country, has issued new guidelines regarding banking services for its customers. In case of cancellation of cash withdrawal from ATM, the bank will charge the customer.

At the same time, the rules related to lost or stolen credit debit card have also been amended. The bank has said that the new changes will come into effect from 1 May 2023.

Punjab National Bank has changed the charges regarding some of its banking services and has issued new guidelines for the customers. According to PNB’s website, Punjab National Bank will charge Rs 10 + GST ​​for domestic ATM cash withdrawal transaction failure due to insufficient funds (ATM Cash Transaction Failure Guidelines). The bank said that Dear Customer, with effect from May 01, 2023, penalty will be applicable for domestic ATM cash withdrawal transactions that fail due to insufficient funds.

What to do in case of PNB transaction failed customer

As per PNB website the guidelines for failed ATM transactions are as follows-

Complaints regarding failed ATM transactions will be addressed within 7 working days of their receipt. A compensation of Rs 100 per day will be given for delayed settlement if the claim is filed within 30 days from the date of transaction. For all such concerns, the customer may call the Bank’s Contact Center toll free helpline 0120-2490000, 18001802222 or 1800 103 2222. Change in Debit Card Charges

Punjab National Bank informed that it is in the process of implementing revised charges for debit card and prepaid card issuance charges and annual maintenance charges. The bank is also planning to levy charges on e-commerce transactions done through POS and debit cards, if the transaction is declined due to insufficient balance in the account.
