Seven injured in gunman attack in Jamaica, curfew imposed

Gunmen opened fire on a government minibus in the southern suburb of Jamaica’s capital Kingston, injuring seven passengers, including three children. After this, the police imposed a curfew in the area. The Jamaica Constabulary Force said that the attack took place on Friday afternoon in Kingston’s Seaview Gardens. But it (force) has not given any information on the condition of the injured.

There is speculation that the gunmen were targeting a man trying to board a bus but officials have not commented on this. The violence in the area is attributed to a clash between rival gangs. Curfew has been ordered in the gardens for two days. Police said they are looking for two people for questioning about the shooting.
