His Excellency the Secretary-General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, Hussain Ibrahim Taha, praised the various and determined efforts made by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia that contributed to the evacuation of nationals of OIC member states, in addition to other non-member states, and crews of diplomats, international and civilian workers, from the Republic of Sudan due to the conditions The country is witnessing, stressing that the Kingdom’s initiative came at the right time.
The Secretary-General extended his thanks to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and to His Royal Highness Prince Muhammad bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister – may God protect them – for their follow-up and guidance of the evacuation process.
The Secretary-General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation renewed his appeal for a cease-fire in Sudan and resort to dialogue in order to preserve the security and safety of the Sudanese people and the Sudanese state and its capabilities.
