The Ministry of Interior has set the conditions that must be met for citizens to register their names in the voter lists in preparation for the Central Municipal Council elections in its seventh session scheduled for June 22.

The registration procedures are represented in that the citizen proceeds with the registration procedures himself at the headquarters of the electoral district to which he belongs, or through the Metrash 2 application, and that the personal card is the reference in determining the residence address, and the person may not request registration in more than one electoral district. The Ministry of the Interior also warned that everyone who has previously been registered has the right to request a modification of his registration in another electoral district, according to the data of his current actual residence.

The ministry stated that the voter registration process will start from next Sunday, April 30, and will continue until Thursday, May 4, noting that registration is available manually at the polling stations, from four in the afternoon until seven in the evening, or electronically via Metrash2 around the clock. 24 hours.

According to the timetable for the electoral process, the preliminary voter lists will be announced at the polling stations, with the door to appeal and grievance against these lists open on Sunday, May 7.
