Sudan Doctors Syndicate announces that the number of civilian casualties has risen to 411

Khartoum, April 29 (QNA) – The Sudan Doctors Syndicate announced today that the number of victims of clashes between the army and the Rapid Support Forces has risen to 411 civilian deaths and 2,023 injuries, an increase of 24 dead and 95 injured since the fighting began two weeks ago, according to the union.

And the Doctors Syndicate announced in a statement it posted on its Facebook page today that yesterday (Friday) alone witnessed the killing of 9 civilians in "Khartoum, Bahri and Omdurman"65 cases, most of them in " El Geneina" , including a number of unstable cases. The union said that the clashes are still ongoing between the Sudanese army and the Rapid Support Forces, and have resulted in more victims, who are still being counted in the capital and the regions.

She pointed out that there are many, many injuries and deaths that are not included in this inventory, pointing out that many deaths and injuries occurred in the recent fighting in the city of El Geneina, which the syndicate seeks to enumerate its victims, noting that the death cases in El Geneina have so far reached 89 deaths, There is no accurate count of the number of injuries, especially since all hospitals in the city are out of service, in addition to the inability to reach hospitals due to the difficulty of movement and the security situation in the country.
