Therapist Khukhrev warned residents in the Russian Federation about the dangers of an excess of vitamin D for the elderly

Therapist Alexei Khukhrev in an interview Moscow 24 said that an excess of vitamin D harms the body of the elderly.

According to the expert, uncontrolled intake of vitamin D can provoke muscle pain, the appearance of kidney stones and increase bone fragility in older people. Most often this happens when patients hope to improve their health, but do not consult doctors about it.

Alexey Khukhrev urged Russians to consult with specialists before taking any vitamins. It is important to understand that even those elements that help our body, if used incorrectly, will do much harm.

In addition, do not forget that vitamin D can be found in foods. For example, it is found in fish, cheese, milk, liver, meat, mushrooms, as well as chicken eggs and butter.
