An oil refinery in the Krasnodar Territory caught fire following a drone attack, reports TASS citing emergency services.

The fire occurred on May 4 at the Ilsky oil refinery around 3:30 a.m. Moscow time. No further details of the incident have been released at this time.

According to data from open sources, the Ilsky Oil Refinery (INZ) is one of the largest oil refineries in Russia, located in the Krasnodar Territory, not far from the town of Ilsky. The plant was founded in 1967 and has long been an important part of the country’s power and energy complex.

Video of the fire was provided by the SHOT Telegram channel.

Recall that earlier Kuban Governor Veniamin Kondratiev announced a powerful fire at an oil storage facility in the village of Volna.
