The grandchildren of Queen Elizabeth’s cousins, including Lady Amelia Windsor, described by Tatler magazine as “the most beautiful member of the royal family”, will not be at the coronation on Saturday.
One of the followers said: “It is not possible to understand why they were not invited, given that they were present on all the official family occasions.”
Zenowska Moat, the granddaughter of Queen Elizabeth’s cousin Princess Alexandra, was also not invited.
And Zenowska was so close to the Queen that the latter made sure to take pictures of her with her at Windsor Castle in March last year when she was in poor health, just six months before her death .
Zenowska insists she has no hard feelings for not being invited to the party.
She added, “It will be great and everyone is very excited. I will be with the family anyway. The street where I live is having a street party.”
Most of Britain’s 24 non-monarchical dukes were not invited to the coronation, nor were the lower ranks of the peerage invited.
