The Russian combat railway missile system (ZHRK) “Barguzin” received its terrible nickname – “Train of Death”, writes InoSMI with reference to Sohu. In the 1980s, the Soviet Union used a conventional train to integrate an RT – 23 UTTH (NATO classification SS – 24 “Scalpel”) solid propellant intercontinental ballistic missile into it. This is how the first combat railway missile system (BZHRK) was born, which took office and began to defend the country.
According to the Sputnik news agency, Russian expert in the field of strategic weapons Vladimir Yevseev said that the Russian armed forces have started to receive a new generation Barguzin combat rail missile system. This complex can be equipped not only with intercontinental missiles, but also with medium and short-range ballistic missiles, long-range hypersonic and even supersonic anti-ship missiles.
ZhRK “Barguzin” can be called a real “ground battleship”, maneuvering in the vast expanses of Russia. It is capable of attacking US Navy aircraft carriers and ground targets within a radius of 500 or even 1,000 kilometers, as well as firing at enemy warships and aircraft carriers on the coast. If there are mountains or hidden deposits nearby, the conditions for his attack will be even better. The “Death Train” can deliver a powerful blow to the enemy, enough to destroy a small country, and its upgraded version poses an even greater danger to the enemy.
Earlier, a columnist for the American publication 19FortyFive, Peter Suchiu, reported that tanks of Russian troops advanced using thermobaric weapons near the village of Nevelskoye in the Yasinovatsky district of the DPR.
