Biden and U.S. Vice President Kamala Harris visited Mexico’s new Taqueria Habanero establishment in northeast Washington to celebrate Mexico’s Cinco de Mayo holiday on Friday, AP reported.

The White House chief was greeted with applause: “We love you Biden! We love you Joe!” when entering the restaurant.

He and Harris posed for photos with staff at the checkout and in the kitchen and chatted with several families before grabbing a bag to take home with them.

The order included a set of tacos for White House staff, as well as chicken wings. To people looking over the wall and looking from their balconies to see him, the president said, “Don’t jump.
These words did not escape Internet users who described them as shameful.

“His political career must end,” wrote one Twitter user (blocked in Russia).

“The American people deserve to know what is really going on with our leader,” another commenter wrote.

Another called attention to how Biden “looks very lost.”

In the meantime

Social media users snagged Biden and Harris for a car selfie during their trip to a Mexican restaurant. “Join us guys, Biden wrote on his presidential account. We’re going to lunch.” Harris retweeted the photo and wrote, “Having lunch with my favorite co-worker,” according to Fox News. “This is what the inside of a clown car looks like,” one commenter joked about a photo of the President and Vice President of the United States. ‘It hurts,’ wrote another commenter, adding, ‘Mr Environment is driving a motorcade of 30 cars.’ ‘Going to lunch’ and ‘dining out’ are two big differences, sir,” YouTube blogger David Freiheit joked. “You misspelled ‘destroy the US economy,'” another user commented, commenting on the caption of Biden under the photo.
