Saab spoke in an exclusive interview with “Sky News Arabia” from the headquarters of the American Embassy in North Beirut, on the sidelines of the ceremony held in his honor by the American Ambassador to Lebanon, Dorothy Shea , as part of the “Meeting with an “Artist” evening.
Saab said, “I am currently working for Lebanon. This is one of my priorities. I have decided to invest in Lebanese youth and guarantee them proper job opportunities in their country.”
He added, “I strongly believe in the abilities, experiences and culture of young people, and I am working to secure job opportunities for 600 young men and women in the field of fashion design and others.”
Saab unveiled several projects he is working on, in addition to his famous works that bear his signature, whether in the world of automobiles, interior engineering or in the field of “lifestyle”, furnishings and perfumes.
And Saab continued: “There are new projects in the works which I will leave as a surprise and unveil them successively.”
The international fashion designer called on Lebanese people, wherever they are in the world, to stand with their country in these circumstances if they could, and to work without hesitation to increase job opportunities in the world. Lebanon.
He expressed his pride in launching his work from his country, wishing “Lebanon will return to its former glory days”.
Saab considered: “Nothing is suitable for Beirut except the title of beauty capital, and that is only appropriate for life. I have been working for more than 3 years on important projects for Lebanon, and I insist on the development of local Lebanese industry under the slogan ‘Made in Lebanon’.”
He continued, “I have already put my hand in the hands of Lebanese universities, and we have established specializations in the art of fashion design in some of them, and I am proud of that and that. act because I believe in the success of Lebanese young people in various parts of the world.”

On the other hand, Saab believed that “the secret of all success lies in promoting and conveying the concept of the world of commerce and good management of the business world before talents”, emphasizing “the importance of good management talents”.
He continued, “If I weren’t a fashion designer, I’d be an architect. Beautiful details appeal to me, and I thought it was only natural for me to own a professional fashion house in my name.”
He added: “Today I have this house that bears my name in the world of design, and it includes a large team of specialists and enjoys great prestige in the world. We have more than 20 projects to around the world in the fashion house that I have always aspired to establish.”
However, Saab criticized the use of technology in drafting and fashion design, adding: “I hope it stops at this point so that the field remains open for work in various professions for the workforce. ‘skilled and artistic work.’
He concluded, “Pen and paper and the human touch have their own fun in the art of sketching and fashion design for me.”
