Covid-19 India: Covid infected cases exceed 16 thousand

New Delhi. During the last 24 hours, more than one thousand new cases of Kovid infection have been reported in the country and with this the total number of infected persons has increased to more than 16 thousand.

The Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare said here on Saturday that 1223 new people have been infected with Kovid during the last 24 hours in the country. With this, the number of Kovid infected has increased to 16998 and the infection rate has been recorded at 0.86 percent. According to the ministry, 2720 people have recovered from Kovid infection in the last 24 hours.

The recovery rate is 98.78 percent. 142695 Covid infection tests have been done in the same period. During the last 24 hours, 1636 Covid vaccines have been administered. With this, more than 220.66 crore Covid vaccines have been administered in the country.
