Tunisia.. One year in prison for Ghannouchi in the case of the “tyrants”

The case concerns a complaint filed by a security trade unionist against Ghannouchi after he used the word “tyrants” when praising a leader of the Ennahda movement.

The Complainant believed that the security forces were what was meant by that word.

It should be noted that Ghannouchi was released earlier in connection with this case, noting that he faces charges related to “apology for terrorism”.
