Reshaping Perspectives and Catalyzing Diplomatic Evolution

Al-Burhan appoints Al-Kabbashi as Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Armed Forces

The new appointments are as follows:

Lieutenant General Shams El-Din Kabbashi Ibrahim Shinto, Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces. Lieutenant General Yasser Abdel-Rahman Hassan Al-Atta, Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces. Lieutenant-General Ibrahim Jaber Ibrahim Karima, Engineering Advisor, Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces.

Earlier in the day, Al-Burhan appointed former rebel leader Malik Agar as deputy head of the Sovereignty Council.

It should be noted that Sudan is witnessing a conflict between the army led by Al-Burhan and the Rapid Support Forces led by Dagalo, and most of the fighting is taking place in and around the capital, Khartoum.

Meanwhile, representatives of the two warring parties are in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, in order to reach a truce.

The Sudanese crisis is also one of the main points and issues to be discussed at the current Arab summit in Jeddah.
