The company said the ChatGPT app will be free and will sync chat history and search across all devices.
“Only GPT Plus chat subscribers can enjoy GPT-4 features, early access to new features, and faster response (to their requests), all on iOS,” the company added.
GPT-4 is a powerful artificial intelligence model based on a newer version of the technology behind the popular chatbot, ChatGPT.
And (OpenAI) in February launched a trial subscription plan for the popular AI-powered chatbot, under the name (ChatGPT Plus), for $20 per month.
The company said it will start rolling out the app on iOS in the US and expand to other countries in the coming weeks.
When introduced late last year, ChatGPT sparked a race to dominate the field of artificial intelligence technology and prompted giant companies from Alphabet to Meta to promote their products in this area.
