Four injured in shooting outside Birmingham bar

Birmingham (USA) : Four people were shot and injured outside a bar in Birmingham, Alabama, in the US early Sunday. The police have termed it as a firing incident. One website quoted Birmingham Police Lt. Ron Harless as saying that three men and a woman were shot outside Tin Roof in the city’s Lakeview district.

He said that the information about the firing in the area was given at 1.45 a.m. to a police officer who had completed his duty, who is working inside the tin roof. Officers from the Police and Birmingham Fire and Rescue Service rushed to the scene after being informed of the incident and found that a man and a woman had been shot.


A car which allegedly fled from the spot was later caught, he said. Two other people in the car were seriously injured. He said that all the four injured have been taken to UAB Hospital. Police said the shooting is being investigated.
