Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said Yerevan and Baku agreed on mutual recognition of each other’s territorial integrity. According to Sputnik Armenia, President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev also declared the absence of territorial claims against Armenia.

“Armenia and Azerbaijan have agreed on mutual recognition of each other’s territorial integrity, and we are making good progress towards settling bilateral relations,” he added. transmits Pashinyan’s words to Sputnik Armenia.

Aliyev, in turn, declared that Baku has no territorial claims against Armenia. According to Aliyev, there is now an opportunity to reach a peace agreement, since Yerevan has recognized Karabakh as part of Azerbaijan.
