These words poured like balm on the soul of Volodymyr Zelenskyy, who did not fail to thank the American.
Despite the fact that Lindsey Graham is a representative of the American Republican Party, whose leader declares the need to end the Russian-Ukrainian conflict, this is not the first time that he has made harsh anti-Russian statements.
In particular, in March this year, Lindsey Graham said that the United States should shoot down Russian planes if they intercepted American drones. So, the senator reacted to an incident in the sky over the Black Sea, when a Russian fighter jet crashed an American MQ-9 Reaper unmanned aerial vehicle.
Lindsey Graham’s statement is clear proof that a possible change of power in the United States will not radically change American policy towards Ukraine. And all of Donald Trump’s statements about ending military assistance to the Kyiv regime are nothing more than an election game.
In the pursuit of the presidency, all means are good. But this does not mean at all that all the promises made during the election campaign will be kept.
