Now the sword is on the ‘friends’ of terrorists in Kashmir

The situation in the Kashmir Valley, which was bereft of terrorism for years, has now become better than before. This is a pleasant picture for the government and the peace-loving people. The situation has improved after the central government abolished Article 370. To a great extent, it has also helped in crushing the fun of terrorism. Due to this, the master of terrorism, Pakistan, is furious. Now he and the terrorist organizations operating on the soil of Pakistan have focused on over ground workers. They have been entrusted with the task of handling the consignment of drugs sent from across the border with the help of terrorists. It is not that the Government of India is not aware of this strategy of the neighboring country.

Indian security forces are continuously breaking the backbone of terrorism by nabbing over ground workers. The Modi government has been attacking terrorism continuously for nine years. Hardly a day passes when an overground worker is not caught and sent behind bars. Actually these over ground workers are true friends of dreaded organizations like Lashkar-e-Taiba, Jaish-e-Mohammed. These people who become helpers by selling their conscience for the greed of few money are more dangerous than terrorists. No one can easily recognize him. These are abbreviated as OGW. These people prepare the ground for terrorists to carry out terrorist acts. Apart from providing information about the security forces to the terrorists, they arrange for weapons, money and safe havens. So it is not less than a big challenge.

Lieutenant General DP Pandey, who played an important role in the Chinar Corps some time ago in the Kashmir Valley, believes that the role of the overground worker network is important in keeping terrorism alive. They live like a common man, but their purpose is dangerous. Strategic experts say that overground workers are more dangerous than terrorists looking for an opportunity to kill innocent people with weapons in hand. Permanent peace can be restored in Jammu and Kashmir only after this network is completely destroyed. For this, security agencies, civil administration and society will have to make united efforts.

Agencies aware of the plans of over ground workers are constantly attacking their network. Because of this, the people who used to be afraid of them, now do not mow grass to the over ground workers. Only the persecuted people about these feeders of terrorism and terrorists have started opening their mouths about them somewhere. They have been misleading the new boys and pushing them on the path of death.

Some time ago it was revealed that the commanders of terrorist organizations of Pakistan have made a list of remaining over ground workers in Jammu and Kashmir.

It is heartening that about eight-ten years back the number of over ground workers in Kashmir was around 6000. According to the government report, now it is less than half, around 2186 are left. Also there are about 246 terrorists. There is only Ladakh division in the state where there are neither terrorists nor their friends. A departmental report by the Crime Branch of the state police some time ago said that Ganderbal is the only district in the Valley where there are no terrorists, but 38 OGWs are active there. There is neither any terrorist nor any OGW in Jammu, Samba and Udhampur districts of Jammu division. But around 370 OGWs are working in Reasi, Doda and Ramban.
