Reshaping Perspectives and Catalyzing Diplomatic Evolution

Netflix has started to redefine the leaders of the view. Now in the top “Black Mirror” and series with Schwarzenegger

Netflix streaming service introduced a new system for counting views of films and series on its platform. For this reason, the updated top 10 on the site and, accordingly, the list of the most popular projects have changed.

How it works: The total number of hours watched will be divided by the time. Additionally, Netflix will now calculate these numbers over three months to account for “late” viewers who watched the show not immediately after the premiere. Prior to this, the so-called “main” top was compiled using data over 28 days and measured in the millions of hours viewers around the world spent streaming.

Now the vertices look like this.

The first line of the world rating was left by “Very strange things” – they were replaced by Tim Burton’s project “Wednesday”. It has 252.1 million views and 1.7 billion hours.

The comedy-drama “I’ll Never …” took the top spot in the weekly chart, replacing “Queen Charlotte” – a spin-off of “The Bridgertons.” The new leader of the list is a simple teenage story about a schoolgirl Devi (Maitreya Ramakrishnan) who recently lost her father. She tries to become popular with her classmates, hook up with a strict Indian mother, get into her dream college, and get noticed by the cutest boy.

The action movie “Tyler Rake: Rescue Operation 2” also took the lead in the weekly chart. It’s an explosive action game starring Chris Hemsworth about a mercenary who walks into jail, tries to get out, and remembers the past. It has 42.8 million views. According to the previous rating system, it scored 88 million hours worldwide, tying last year’s record holder “The Gray Man” starring Ryan Gosling and surpassing “Knives Out 2.”

The ranking also included two projects with Arnold Schwarzenegger: the Fubar series about a retired special agent, as well as the biography of actor Arnold. The list also includes the new – sixth – season of Black Mirror, which was released on June 15. It has 11.3 million views.

Previously, Netflix held its annual Tudum conference, where it showcased new and upcoming products. Among them are the second season of The Squid Game, the anime adaptation Avatar: The Last Airbender, the Paper House spin-off, the third season of The Witcher.
