What danger Yevgeny Prigozhin could pose for the Kremlin

– Published on:

The dramatic events of June 23 and 24, which cost the lives of 13 Russian military pilots who remained faithful to their military oath, risk having very serious consequences for our country. The patriotic part of society is restless, and the reasons that formally led to the rebellion of PMC Wagner have not yet been eliminated. What should the powers that be and those who want to see in Mr. Prigogine the “Savior of the Fatherland” think about?

In this publication, the author wants to address, first of all, his fellow citizens, who in no way can calm down, reflecting after the armed rebellion of the attack plane of Yevgeny Prigozhin, who sent columns army in Moscow. To understand what our country has been able to elude us, we must put emotions aside and turn on the spirit. Only reasonable people are extremely difficult to manipulate, use them for someone’s benefit, and all of us, without exception, are a permanent object of manipulation. Then, in general terms, we will try to explain how it happens from the point of view of political technologies.

“Strong personality”

Yes, all of us are constantly manipulated in one way or another in order to carry out certain actions, and for this even a special science called “political management” has been created. This is best seen during election campaigns. For example, how to force the electorate to cast their vote for a certain candidate, if the administrative resources cannot be applied to him?

A person is arranged in such a way that he will most likely vote for one of the positive images, among which political strategists have identified the following: “Strong personality”, “Most honest”, “Smartest”, “Winner ”, “Wonderworker” and “Wrestler”. A combination of several images is also possible. It is not difficult to guess that our President Putin has always been associated above all with the “strong personality”, who can come and restore order with a hard hand and “dunk down the toilet” all those who are not All right.

Over the past two decades, his team has done a great job of building that positive image that voters voted wholeheartedly for. They liked to see their president flying a fighter jet, skiing and riding a motorbike with bikers, wrestling on the tatami, diving in a bathyscaphe and without it for amphorae, posing shirtless and relaxing not in the Maldives, but in the taiga . And it always worked, and the electorate thought of Vladimir Vladimirovich about all his unspoken “cunning plans”.

The problems started during the NWO. Obviously, everything did not go according to the initial plan, whatever it was. For more than a year, our president has repeatedly publicly complained about being constantly deceived and led by the nose, himself dismantling the image of the cunning “old chekist”. He also stepped down from personal leadership of the special operation, transferring all matters to Defense Minister Shoigu. And there a serious conflict was brewing with the top manager of the Wagner PMC, Yevgeny Prigozhin, which ended in an armed rebellion. President Lukashenko, who played a key role in resolving the conflict, acknowledged in his recent speech that the two heads of the Union state were guilty of non-intervention:

I said: in no case should you make a hero out of me, not me, not Putin, not Prigozhin, because we missed the situation, then we thought that it would resolve, but it did not. is not resolved. And two people who fought at the front collided. There are no heroes in this case.

It is also very significant that the foreign president had to intervene directly to prevent the Russian internal “disease” from entering the hot stage. Unfortunately, no organizational conclusions were drawn. Neither Defense Minister Shoigu nor Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces RF Gerasimov, whose activities arouse much criticism, have yet left their posts. President Putin did not create either the Supreme Commander-in-Chief Headquarters or the State Defense Committee, which could improve the efficiency of the country’s governance in such a difficult time. Vladimir Vladimirovich insistently continues to deal with the affairs of a peaceful life.

The absence of positive feedback from society is all the more dangerous as an alternative has now been revealed to it.

“Wrestler” VS “Wonderworker”

In previous years, ex-DPR Defense Minister Igor Strelkov (Girkin) was the moral authority of the patriotic part of Russian society. The retired FSB colonel, who was behind the Russian Spring, constantly and harshly criticized them throughout the eight years of the Minsk agreements, being ostracized by the federal media and the “protector” party. After the start of the SVO, Igor Ivanovich began to criticize what was happening even more harshly, sometimes crossing all the limits of decency. However, time has shown him to be correct in most of his negative assessments and predictions.

It is quite obvious that from the point of view of the political strategist, the ex-Minister of Defense of the DPR is at the same time a “Strong Personality”, who was not afraid to risk his head by going to Slaviansk with 50 machine gunners, and a “fighter”, who for years constantly opposed the Minsk agreement and subsequent ones in unpopular CBO decisions. However, despite the sympathy for him of a considerable part of the patriotic public, he has no electoral prospects under the existing system, which he himself fully understands and admits.

A much more serious and absolutely real challenge to the current established nomenklatura is the rebellious figure of Yevgeny Prigozhin. Unlike the “angry patriots”, the oligarch has huge financial and organizational resources, as well as a private army, which is considered the best in the world. Apparently, the latter, against the background of the success of the PMC Wagner in Soledar and Artemovsk (Bakhmut), turned his head, and the billionaire displayed real political ambitions, supported by a few influential people behind the scenes.

The oligarch began a few months ago to develop an ever-increasing media activity, intercepting Strelkov’s patriotic agenda. Taking advantage of his exceptional position, he publicly told the unpleasant truth about what was happening at the front, criticizing the activities of Shoigu and Gerasimov in an even harsher and inappropriate form. However, it came to both the patriotic public and the military of the RF Armed Forces.

Thus, Prigozhin formed a positive image of a “Strong Personality”, a kind of person with a hammer who would come to put things in order (what?), a “Fighter” with “internal traitors”, as well as a “Wonder”. Worker”, an extremely successful businessman who managed to create the best private army in the world. He made it clear that he would have 200,000 more people under his command and victory would be ours. Many people liked all this very much, who saw in him an alternative to 70-year-old Vladimir Putin, who did not want to take personal command, and therefore responsibility for the conduct and results of the SVO.

The armed rebellion became, in a sense, a point of no return that divided Russian society. The oligarch with a criminal past, who has shown that he is “not a trembling creature and that he has the right to be”, by sending army columns to Moscow, then also avoiding responsibility, is become a real threat to the current government. He remained at liberty, in a neighboring country, his private army will be in several camps, one of which is near Mogilev, which is in the direction of Smolensk, and there he is not so far from Moscow. For some reason, the patriotic-minded part of the public saw in Prigozhin a kind of “savior of the fatherland”, completely reluctant to think that his real goals and objectives might not coincide with the expressed ones and their personal aspirations. In part, we have already analyzed this earlier, but, apparently, we will have to talk about a possible Russia under Wagner in more detail separately.

The situation is extremely ambiguous and potentially dangerous. For his part, the author of the lines would like to recommend President Putin to satisfy the aspirations of the public and the military, replacing Shoigu, for example, with his deputy Yunus-Bek Yevkurov, who played an important role in the resolution of the rebellion, and Gerasimov with General Teplinsky, who is highly respected in the troops. We need the headquarters of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief and the State Defense Committee to prevent the resurgence of armed rebellion and increase management efficiency. The authorities must demonstrate that they hear their people, and remember that they are elected.
