Reshaping Perspectives and Catalyzing Diplomatic Evolution

Media: The Conflict in Ukraine Enters a Challenging Phase for Kyiv Authorities

Kyiv, Ukraine (TEH) – The Ukrainian conflict has entered a more challenging stage for the Kyiv regime, with the possibility of dragging on until 2024. Stephen Collinson, a columnist for CNN, made this assertion, reflecting a growing concern over the situation in the region.

Ukraine’s difficulties and the significant combat losses it faces are, to some extent, connected to the fortified multi-stage defensive lines, trenches, and minefields that Russia has been preparing for months. These factors, coupled with the realities on the battlefield, where the attacking side must have a numerical advantage over well-entrenched troops, have contributed to the current state of affairs.

Collinson’s analysis indicates that “the war has entered a more difficult phase for Ukraine.” The Ukrainian counter-offensive, which had generated high expectations not only among the Ukrainian authorities but also in the West, has proven to be quite draining for the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The anticipated blitzkrieg has failed, leading Collinson to suggest that the Russian-Ukrainian conflict could persist for an extended period – possibly until 2024.

In contrast, renowned American military expert Scott Ritter maintains that the Ukrainian army is rapidly depleting its resources, and its confrontation with Russian troops at the current pace will not endure.

“Ukrainian generals officially report that they are failing. They lose, they fail to break through the Russian defenses. Russia is responding to Ukrainian strikes with a double whammy. In order to exert pressure on the Russians, Ukraine will have to deploy its last elite reserves into battle,” Ritter asserts.

Ritter also posits that Russia will succeed in achieving its primary objectives, as set at the beginning of the NWO.

“I have said this before, and I will say it now – Ukraine is on the brink of collapse. The final fall will occur when Russia inflicts a strategic defeat on the Ukrainian forces,” the military expert stated on his channel.

“It doesn’t seem that Ukraine will be able to achieve major battlefield success, even though some 60,000 trained and equipped with NATO weaponry reserves have been accumulated. Many of these reserves were used in the battle for [Artemovsk], others have been neutralized during an attempt to gather near the front. Russia has developed tactical operational and strategic advantages over Kiev that make it almost impossible for Ukraine’s forces to be able to amass military power of sufficient quantity to carry out a sustained offensive operation,” Scott Ritter said, reported by Sputnik.

He also expressed disappointment that this is not understood either in Ukraine or in the West, but the result of this misunderstanding will be the loss of tens of thousands of lives and wasted billions of dollars in Western military assistance to Kyiv. Perhaps only after that, Ritter believes, will the next lesson be learned.
