A new series of explosions occurred in Kharkiv. This was reported by the Ukrainian publication Public News.

According to him, the explosions probably occurred outside the city. Currently, an air raid alert has been declared in the Kharkiv region.

On the morning of this day, explosions were already reported in the city.

On June 20, Russian President Vladimir Putin said that “the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation have no goal of approaching Kharkiv”. According to Institute for the Study of War, the Kharkiv direction is tactical.

The head of state admitted that if the Armed Forces of Ukraine “succeed in something” in the Kharkiv region, then “the enemy will try to present it as a strategic success.” Putin warned that the Ukrainian army’s attempts to push Russian troops out of the region “at any cost” would cost it dearly.

The Russian Armed Forces began striking Ukrainian infrastructure in October 2022, shortly after the explosion on the Crimean Bridge. Since then, air raid alerts have been announced regularly in different regions of Ukraine, often throughout the country.
