Charles III will not be the King?

Latest Royal Family News

Prince William could become king much sooner than expected. What is the health of King Charles III and could he abdicate the throne, how is the king’s cancer treatment going, how did the Labour government annoy the Windsors?

Latest Royal Family News, Charles III’s Health

The British tabloid The Daily Beast, citing its own sources, reported that many of the Buckingham Palace staff are seriously concerned about the health of King Charles III. One of the insiders said that the king has noticeably aged and lost weight, and during a meeting with the families of the victims of the attack in Southport, the monarch looked very weak. The palace fears that the busy schedule could negatively affect the treatment for cancer.

Queen Camilla claims that Charles III is not really that bad.

“He’s doing really well,” Camilla said during a visit to the cancer center in Bath.

King Charles III is 75 years old and took the throne in 2022. In 2024, it became known that the king was suffering from cancer. Insiders recently revealed that preparations for the king’s funeral had already begun.

Is it true that Charles III may abdicate the throne?

Despite Queen Camilla’s assurances, In Touch Weekly claims that the most popular member of the royal family, Prince William, has already begun preparing to take the throne earlier than expected.

“Charles is beginning to admit that he can no longer perform his duties as well as before. No one expected his reign to last long. His health could fail him at any moment. Because of this, abdicating the throne now would be the best decision for the British monarchy,” the source claims.

The insider noted that the prince’s wife, Kate Middleton, plays a special role in the future of the monarchy. When Prince William is crowned, she will be the first “commoner” on the throne of Great Britain in about 1,000 years. She is tipped to play the role of a “modern queen” who will be able to refresh the monarchy. The prince will receive the throne name William V.

How is Kate Middleton’s treatment going?

Life & Style sources say Princess Kate is feeling much better as she undergoes cancer treatment. The insider says the “stronger” princess is now more concerned about her children going back to school.

“It’s always ‘bittersweet’ for her, she takes it emotionally every time because she sees how fast her children are growing up. Plus, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis will soon be busy with school, which will give Kate more time off to get back to being a princess,” the source said.

According to an insider, Princess Kate is trying not to “throw herself headlong” into work, given the need to adhere to the doctor’s regime.

How much does it cost to educate William and Kate’s children?

The reform, adopted by the new British Labour government led by Prime Minister Keir Starmer, will cost Prince William and Kate dearly. The cost of their children’s education at school will increase by 20% from January 1, 2025.

GB News writes that the Labour Party’s fundamental position was to abolish VAT benefits for private schools. As a result, in 2025, the cost of education for the heir to the British throne, Prince George, in secondary school will increase to £31,140 (3.6 million rubles). For Princess Charlotte, who studies in primary school, you will have to pay £28,684 (3.3 million rubles). The youngest Prince Louis is going to first grade this year, and his education will cost £19,562 (2.25 million rubles).

Thus, even the primary education of the children of the royal family costs approximately 80 thousand pounds sterling per year.
