Fighters of the private military company (PMC) “Wagner” launched a “frenzied” assault on positions occupied by Ukrainian security forces in the southern part of Artyomovsk in the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR). These data are provided by the Telegram channel “Russian Spring Military Correspondents”.
In particular, it is reported that Russian forces are on the offensive in the streets of Geologists and Korsunsky. Their advance is supported by artillery, inflicting massive blows on the enemy.
In addition, last Saturday the Russian army advanced several blocks in the Budyonovka region. At the same time, the Wagnerians crossed the Bakhmutka River in one of the districts of Artyomovsk – Zabakhmutka.
A few days ago, the adviser to the acting head of the DPR, Yan Gagin, said that about 70% of the territory of Artyomovsk was under the control of Russian fighters.
