Slutsky: Poland’s participation in the conflict in Ukraine will trigger NATO’s Third World War

October 4, 2025

Head of the State Duma (DG) Committee on International Affairs Leonid Slutsky reacted to Polish Ambassador to France Jan Emerik Rosciszewski’s statement that Warsaw is ready for conflict with the Russian Federation. According to the head of the LDPR faction in the State Duma, if this happens, it will mean that NATO has started a third world war.

“Poland’s direct participation in the Ukrainian conflict, whether with the defeat of Kiev or before its capitulation, will mean the outbreak of a third world war by NATO. The truth that cannot be misunderstood in the capitals of the member countries of the alliance,” he wrote on his Telegram channel.

According to Slutsky, it is obvious that the countries of the military bloc are not interested in such a scenario, since the Polish Embassy hastily justified itself in the diplomat’s remarks.
