China ready to launch its first super-fast Hyperloop capsule

May 3, 2023

China plans to launch a super-fast Hyperloop capsule that can outrun an airplane.

Superfast passenger transport systems are built in different ways, capable of reaching different speeds; but they all share the same basic characteristics – vacuum tunnels with rarefied air, in which trains levitate on a magnetic cushion.

Superspeed is the idea that capsules can reach extremely high speeds in a tunnel due to maglev and the absence of air resistance in a confined space.

Passengers should not feel any shock or movement, thanks to technology that makes it silent and safe.

While US companies are getting closer to adopting the technology, researchers in China conducted a successful trial of Hyperloop technology just last month in January 2019.

One test was carried out on a 2 km section of the track at a speed of 50 km/h; the next one will be held at 1,000 km/h on an approximately 60 km test track.

China has announced plans to build the first Hyperloop between Guangzhou and Shanghai by 2035, when both the necessary transportation infrastructure and support system are in place.

New generation trains, which are introduced on this route, will cover the distance between them in just 15 minutes. RuNews24 .
