Wiesbaden – The Hessian police searched several apartments in the country in a blow to the right-wing scene. In addition to right-wing extremist marks and utensils, firearms and war weapons were also seized, Interior Minister Peter Beuth (CDU) said in Wiesbaden on Tuesday. Around 90 police officers were deployed, including special units.
The State Criminal Police Office had led the operation. A total of six apartments had been searched during the campaign, another one last Thursday. “”Even in pandemic times, we keep the pressure on right-wing extremists high,” Minister Beuth emphasized. “We will continue our struggle against extremism with all determination.”
