Turkish forces shot down 3 terrorists targeting farmers in A’zaz, Syria

The Turkish Ministry of Defense announced that 3 terrorists from the “YPG / PKK” organization had been neutralized after they targeted farmers in the city of A’zaz, northern Syria.

The ministry said in a tweet on Twitter, Saturday, that the terrorists of the aforementioned organization opened fire from the Tal Rifaat area, towards farmers in A’zaz, located within the “Euphrates Shield,” while they were gathering olives.

They added, “Our heroic soldiers responded to the terrorists immediately when they saw them targeting farmers, and 3 of them were neutralized.”

Through Operation Euphrates Shield, which it launched on August 24, 2016, the Turkish army was able to clear 2,055 square kilometers of land in northern Syria from terrorist elements.
