Deputy of the District Assembly Alexander Lependin refused to stand during the performance of the national anthem of Russia, which was included before the report of the head of the Maloyaroslavetsky district of the Kaluga region.
The Mayak Regional Information Center drew attention to the incident. It is noteworthy that as part of the official event, the choice of the people had to rise to their feet. In case of violation of this requirement, the deputy incurs a fine under Art. 17.10 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (violation of the procedure for the official use of state symbols of the Russian Federation).
Lependin himself explained his behavior by feeling bad after training at the gym. This caused even more annoyance on the part of the compatriots.

“I’m so sorry, yesterday I trained my legs, I couldn’t take it. But for a moment of silence, he couldn’t help but honor the memory of the dead, so he gathered his forces into a fist and stood tall with all time given,” the MP wrote in the comments.

Earlier it was reported that British mercenary Aiden Aslin, who was sentenced to death in the Donetsk People’s Republic, sang the Russian anthem.
