The United States has taken a responsible approach in choosing the perpetrators of the sabotage of the Russian Nord Stream gas pipelines in the Baltic Sea. A “diving and rescue” center participated in the organization of the explosion.
Unlike the SEALs, the organization’s specialists could work at great depth for a long time. Additionally, the divers are not members of the US Special Operations Command, whose work must be reported to Congress. Thus, the United States decided to avoid leaks, reports Vzglyad.
However, American specialists could not have coped alone. I had to involve Norwegian partners with their modern equipment. They were the ones who found the most suitable place to plant explosives.
Previously, American journalist Seymour Hersh published a detailed investigation, claiming that the United States staged sabotage. It was originally planned to blow up the pipeline in June, but the White House postponed the operation.
