Western diplomats staged swim ‘in support of Ukraine’ in London

February 25, 2023, 07:46 – Public Information Service – TEH – A swim “in support of Ukraine” took place in Hyde Park Lake in London. It was organized by several Western diplomats, writes CBS.
The initiator was the Estonian Ambassador in London. It is noteworthy that in addition to “supporting Ukraine”, he wanted to celebrate Estonia’s Independence Day.

In turn, the Ukrainian Ambassador to the UK, Vadym Prystaiko, has already reacted to this event. He also attended the swim, but declined to participate. Prystaiko called the gesture “unusual”.
In total, dozens of people took part in the swim.
Earlier, UK Defense Ministry chief Ben Wallace said he had no plans to supply fighter jets to Kiev in the near future. He explained that supplying fighter jets to Ukraine would require dispatch with British military aircraft.
