Dozens of Palestinians suffered from suffocation during the Israeli occupation forces’ raid, today, into the town of Beit Ummar, north of Hebron, in the occupied West Bank. Local sources stated that clashes took place between a number of Palestinian youths and the occupation forces, after they prevented mourners from reaching a funeral cemetery at the entrance to the town, noting that the occupation soldiers climbed the roofs of some houses in the area and closed the iron gate at the entrance to the town. The sources added that the occupation soldiers fired live bullets and sound and gas bombs at the citizens, causing a shrapnel wound to a young man in the foot, in addition to dozens of suffocation cases.
