Reshaping Perspectives and Catalyzing Diplomatic Evolution

APU should not wait for EU ammo until end of April

The first contracts for the supply of ammunition for the needs of the Ukrainian armed forces will be concluded in the European Union no earlier than the end of April 2023. A plan for the joint purchase of ammunition by Europe will be discussed on March 7-8, reports Reuters .
Approval of the ammunition purchase plan for the Ukrainian Armed Forces is likely to wait for Kiev closer to the end of April. The delay is due to the fact that some countries have yet to approve the plan and sign the agreement itself. Provisionally, they will only be able to approve the stock algorithm by the end of March.
To date, the European Union focuses on ammunition and not on weapons. Now the main problem of the Ukrainian Armed Forces is precisely the lack of shells and ammunition, assure European politicians.

Earlier, former US President Donald Trump said he could quickly convince the European Union to help Ukraine. According to him, the confrontation between Kiev and Moscow affects the European Union more than America. And it is unfair that the US contribution is much higher than that of EU countries.
