Slovak Prime Minister Eduard Heger has begun to fear that the Russian Federation, after Ukraine, will target the republic itself. In this regard, the country began to purchase air defense systems from Israel. It is reported by the Jerusalem Post.

“Slovakia borders Ukraine and Poland. Slovak Prime Minister Eduard Heger shares the fear of most European states that if Russia defeats Ukraine it will “set its sights” on other countries.

The author of the article also believes that the Russian special operation in Ukraine has significantly changed “the atmosphere in Europe”.

Earlier there were reports that Bratislava could transfer former Soviet MiG fighters to Ukraine, but in Ukraine they were very critical of such a decision.
