Lecturer of Archpriest Andrey Bliznyuk of the St. Tikhon Orthodox Humanitarian University on March 10 in the Arkhangelsk Library named after NA Dobrolyubova will present her video essay on trips to Mezen. This was reported by the press service of the Arkhangelsk diocese.
Since 1996, Father Andrei travels the regions of Russia with missionary campaigns. The priest often visited the Arkhangelsk region, more than 20 times – to Mezen, the fate of which became the personal concern of Father Andrei. During his travels, he took a lot of photos, made videos. These materials will be presented to the participants of the meeting.
Archpriest Andrey Bliznyuk was born in 1964 in Moscow, graduated from the Lviv Military-Political School, St. Tikhon Orthodox Theological Institute, trained as a lifeguard and was certified by the Commission of the Ministry of Situations emergency. He teaches at St. Tikhon Orthodox Humanitarian University and at St. Peter’s Orthodox School. Cleric of the Church of St. Nicholas of Kuznetsy, head of the church assistance group in emergency situations of the Synodal Charity Department of the Moscow Patriarchate.
