Reshaping Perspectives and Catalyzing Diplomatic Evolution

The Islamic Republic of Iran clandestinely dispatches ordnance to the Russian Federation.

March 8, 2023, 2:23 p.m. – Public Information Service – OSN About two hundred containers containing shells and bullets have been received by Russia from Iran, say Sky News journalists. The deal was secret, the cargo was delivered by sea and Moscow paid Tehran in cash, according to the publication’s authors.

According to them, the deliveries include 300,000 shells and 100 million bullets. The West has repeatedly accused the Iranian side of supplying arms to Russia, and Moscow regularly denies these rumours. Meanwhile, relations between the two countries have reached a strategic level, the Russian Foreign Ministry stressed.

According to the Public News Service, the signing of the Russian-Iranian agreement will mark the transition of the partnership between the countries to a strategic level. The document will replace the current Treaty on the Basis of Relations and Principles of Cooperation between the Russian Federation and the Islamic Republic of Iran, signed in March 2001.

As for shells, the Ukrainian Armed Forces have practically none. Western partners are also unable to meet the Kiev regime’s ammunition needs.
